Medical Device CNC Machining
Precision components for surgical, diagnostic, and lab equipment
Medical device parts demand precision, cleanliness, and consistency. Digital Machine produces surgical instrument components, diagnostic housings, fixture hardware, and lab equipment parts in the materials medical engineers specify — held to tight tolerances and finished to spec.
We work with medical OEMs and contract manufacturers on pre-production first articles through short-to-mid run production where precision and repeatability matter as much as the print itself.
Medical Parts We Make
Surgical Instrument Components
Handles, jaws, sliders, and pivots machined from 316L and 17-4 PH stainless. Smooth radii, clean transitions, and consistent finish quality across batches.
Diagnostic Equipment Parts
Optical mounts, sensor housings, and fluidics manifolds for diagnostic and imaging systems. Tight feature alignment between bores and mating faces.
Fixtures & Test Hardware
Production fixtures, calibration jigs, and assembly tooling for medical OEM lines. Built to last across thousands of cycles.
PEEK & Plastic Components
Implant-adjacent and biocompatible-grade PEEK parts, insulators, and lab equipment housings. Stress-free machining with controlled feeds and coolants.
Medical-Grade Materials We Machine
316L Stainless Steel
The medical workhorse. Corrosion-resistant, biocompatible, and well-suited to passivation and electropolish post-processing.
Titanium 6Al-4V (Grade 5 & 23 ELI)
For implant-adjacent and high-strength components where biocompatibility and weight are critical.
17-4 PH & 15-5 PH Stainless
Hardened-and-aged stainless for surgical instruments needing strength and edge retention.
PEEK, Radel & Delrin
Engineering plastics for non-metallic medical components, lab fixtures, and fluid path hardware.
Quality & Finish
Inspection-backed precision and ready-for-passivation surfaces
Medical parts ship clean, deburred, and ready for the next process step. Surfaces are prepared for passivation, electropolish, or anodize as required. CMM and optical comparator verification on critical features, with first-article reports on request.
We routinely hold ±0.001" and achieve ±0.0005" on the dimensions that matter most.
